Our Story

Griha — the Nepali word for home, a boutique born from two worlds.

We're a small family-run store in Kogarah, Sydney, but our roots go deeper than that. Our textiles come directly from the hands of artisan weavers in Nepal — people who have been crafting cashmere, pashmina and yak wool by hand for generations, using techniques passed down long before mass production existed. When you hold a Griha shawl, you're holding something made slowly, with real skill, in a place where that skill still matters.

Our jewellery tells a similar story. Every piece in our sterling silver collection is individually crafted — no factory lines, no shortcuts. We source 925 sterling silver and natural gemstones chosen for quality, character and longevity. The kind of pieces you wear for years, not seasons.

We started Griha because we believed there was a gap between the fast-fashion accessories flooding the market and the truly beautiful things that deserved to exist in people's lives. We wanted to offer something worth owning — and worth giving. Whether you're visiting us in store on Belgrave Street or shopping online from anywhere in Australia, you're buying directly from us. That means honest answers, real care, and pieces we'd confidently give to our own family.

That's the Griha way — and it always will be. Visit us at Shop 4, 5–9 Belgrave Street, Kogarah NSW or shop online at griha.com.au with Australia-wide and international delivery.
